The trail to Ruby Valley is a newly opened route with very few tea houses or any means of accommodation. The trail offers stunning views of the Ganesh Himal range, Langtang Himal, Budhha Himal, Himalchuli, and many other peaks. The trail passes through foothills and lowland farm terraces to reach the ethnic Tamang village. This beautiful hidden valley lies in the Ganesh Himal range, which is the central part of the Himalayas. Since the route was recently opened, there will not be a crowd of trekkers. The trek to Ruby Valley is adventurous as it includes flatlands, terraced farmlands, a gradual and steep climb, and the beautiful green, lush forest and snow-capped mountains. The major attraction of this trek is the Pangsang Pass, at an elevation of 3850m. The pass is also famous for its incredible views of mountains. The pass offers views of majestic mountains such as Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, and Manaslu, and you will see Tipling villages in the footsteps of the ground from the Pangsang La pass. The monasteries, stupas, gumbas, and temples reflect the religion and culture of the valley. The valley also offers the natural treats of waterfalls, hot springs, lush green forests, flora and fauna, stunning landscapes, and flowing rivers.

The journey begins with a 6-7-hour drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi. Along the trail, you will pass many beautiful villages, encountering different types of lifestyles along the route. It is also an opportunity to meet locals and get insights on them. The accommodation will be simple and so as the food. Thus, you will get to experience local hospitality.
