Rara and Jumla, respectively, are located in the Mugu and Jumla districts of Nepal. With little to no one on the rugged path to Rara and Jumla, you will find the trail all to yourself. Due to the difficulty of transportation, there are not many visits to this place. But all the hard work is rewarded with beautiful, serene, and quaint Rara Lake, surrounded by snowy peaks along with alpine pastures, and Trans Himalayan valleys sheltered with pine forests and Juniper trees. This stunning feature makes a beautiful, calm retreat for the nature lover on the Rara Lake trek. A beautiful trek around Nepal’s largest lake, Rara which lies in the Rara and Jumla Region in Nepal
Rara National Park is an appealing destination to watch different species of birds, flora, and fauna. The national park is home to many species of flora and fauna, including mammals and fish, as well as many other animals. The national park also shelters rare and endangered animals like the red panda, snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, Indian snow leopard, and many more.
Jumla is an originator of the Nepali language, which was also once part of the Malla or Khas kingdom. Jumla is a Himalayan mountainous region rising from 915 meters up to 4679 meters. The untouched glory is the charming point of this region. Difficult to reach, but people and their lifestyle, as well as the stunning landscapes, are the charming points of Jumla. The innocence in their faces and smiles, unknown to modern society, will keep you in awe. Maybe this is the reason trekkers who have already been there prefer to go back.
Due to almost no human settlement, it is difficult to get accommodation, but you can always opt for camping. Trekking on these trails is quite different from trekking on the popular trails of Nepal. Thus, these trails are more famous for camping trekking than for tea house trek.
