Nagarkot Changunarayan Day Hiking A short day of hiking on the outskirts of Kathmandu. Changu Narayan Temple is a UNESCO-listed world heritage site in Nepal. It is a religiously and architecturally important temple in Nepal. Nagarkot is one of the best places for short-day hiking as well as to see the perfect vista of sunrise and sunset over the massive white Himalayas of Nepal. Nagarkot Changu Narayan Day hiking not only offers the finest scenery of mountains, but it will also let you explore the different lifestyles of people living just outside the Kathmandu valley.

The journey is short, though it starts early in the morning with a scenic drive to beautiful Nagarkot. The hike will start only after the glorious view of the sunrise over the Himalayas. Then you hike around the lively little villages around Nagarkot, getting to know local people and talking with them. After a little tour of the Nagarkot, the hike continues towards the extravagant pagoda-style Changu Narayan Temple. Admire the intricate works of art done in the temple, the carving done on the woods, and the stone sculptures of the temple. Basic Information

Early morning around depends on season 4: 30 AM pick up from the hotel and drive to Nagarkot.
After sunrise, you can have breakfast in Nagarkot.
After breakfast, hike down to Changunarayan Temple.
After exploring the temple, you can have lunch and drive back to KTM.
