Trip Overview

Lobuche Peak climbing will make it one of the most quintessentially-popular Himalayan trekking peaks, despite its difficulty level being a bit more challenging than that of nearby Island Peak. You will have stunning views of Ama Dablam, Tawache, and many more spectacular mountains.

The Lobuche Peak climb starts in Kathmandu after a cultural tour of heritage sites in the Kathmandu valley. In this trek, you can get to do the Everest base camp trek too. After an acclimatization trek to Kala Pathar, you climb beneath the main glaciers descending from Lobuche Base Camp to gain access to the wonderful ridge overlooking the Lobuche and Khumbu glaciers. The views are breathtaking. Lobuche East true summit can be reached with some degree of difficulty by gaining the notch with a descent followed by a climb of steep snowy slopes to the amazing top.

The climb has struggled, but it is very much worth every step you took to reach the top. Besides that, Highland Eco Trek climbing instructor would give you vital mountain climbing training before the trek.
