Laya Gasa Trek is a mesmerizing trek to the northern Highland of Bhutan. The route to Laya Gasa is almost the same as the Chomolhari Treks till Lingshi before entering the northern side of Bhutan. The Laya Gasa Trek is a perfect way to adore the beautiful scenery of the Himalayas as well as get close with the cultural aspects of Bhutan. Besides that, it is also a great opportunity to see and learn about the flora and fauna of Bhutan.
The journey starts from Kathmandu after the sightseeing day tour of UNESCO listed world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley. With a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to Thimpu, admiring the beautiful arts, the architecture of Thimpu and Paro along with other main attraction of the country. The official trek to the Laya Gasa begins from Paro Valley. On the trail, you will get to see the magnificent mountains of Bhutan. As the trail passes through charming villages located at the high altitude gives you perfect opportunity to experience the Layaps culture, tradition and lifestyle. The hot springs of Gasa are an absolute delight after the hard trekking. Laya Gasa Trek is a perfect gateway for an amazing trip to Bhutan and to the Highland of Bhutan.
Day 01:- Your arrival in Paro (2,248 m.)
Day 02:- Activities in Taktsang monastery and afternoon Chele-La (3,782 m.) via Ha valley.
Day 03:- Acclimatization day explore in Ha valley.
Day 04:- Drive to Shana (2,795 m.) Via Chele-La and Paro.
Day 05:- Trekking to Soi Thangthangkha (3,500 m.)
Day 06:- Trekking in Chomolhari base camp (4, 076 m.)
Day 07:- Rest day in Chomolharo base camp day for exploring around.
Day 08:- Trekking to Lingshi (4,035 m.) cross over the Nyile-La pass (4,888 m.)
Day 09:- Trekking in Chebisa (3,848 m.) from Lingshi.
Day 10:- Trekking in Somuthang (3,948 m.) crossing through Gombu-La pass (4,410 m.).
Day 11:- Trekking in Robulathang (4,400 m.) cross over the Jhare-La pass (4,781 m.).
Day 12:- Trekking in Limithang (4,155 m.) Cross over the Shinge-La pass (5,010 m.).
Day 13:- Trekking in Laya (3,709 m.) from Limithang.
Day 14:- Trekking in Koena (3,241 m.) from Laya.
Day 15:- Trekking Gasa from Koena cross over the Bale-La pass (3,805 m.).
Day 16:- This day drive to Punakha for the Sightseeing tour.
Day 17:- Drive in Thimpu for sightseeing tour via Dochu-La pass (3,050 m.)
Day 18:- Final departure day for your own destination.
