The Everest Panoramic Trek is the easiest way to get close to the mighty Mt. Everest. Everybody, from children to the elderly, can opt for this trek. Among the many types of trekking in Nepal, tea house trekking is one of them. The Everest Panorama Trek is a tea house trek in the Everest region. It is also known as the Tengboche Trek. This is a short trek in the Everest region. During this short period, you can trek through the beautiful villages of the Everest region, getting closer to the local Sherpa community.
The highlights of the Everest panorama treks are Namche Bazar, Tengboche Monastery, and the amazing views of mountains in the backdrop. The trek begins with a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. After that, we take a hike to the beautiful Sherpa settlement of Namche Bazar, which is the ultimate gateway for any expedition in the Everest region. Namche Bazaar is a beautiful place to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains while enjoying the bakery goods with a cup of warm tea or coffee. Namche Bazaar is the first acclimatization for every trekker trekking in any part of the Khumbu region. Because of that, Namche Bazaar is quite more crowded than any other trekking spot in Nepal. After enjoying the pleasantries that Namche bazaar offers, we hike up to Khumjung village, located inside the Sagarmatha National Park. Edmund Hillary built a school in Khumjung village, starting with only two classrooms and now conducting classes up to the secondary level. The main attractions of Khumjung village are Kunde Hospital and Khumjung Monastery, which is famous for the infamous Yeti scalp.
The last spot on the itinerary is the Tengboche monastery. Tengboche offers a stunning panoramic view of the Everest range. The breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Tawache can be seen up close. Tengboche is a popular spot for capturing the views of sky-piercing mountains.
Furthermore, this trek is for those who have very little time to explore all the beauty of the Everest region. Despite that, in a short amount of time, you can discover the Sherpa culture and tradition as well as explore the beautiful gift of nature.
