The magnificent beauty of Ganesh Himal and Manaslu Himal is a favourite among the people who have trekked through that region and one of the best trekking routes in Nepal. It is an off-the-beaten-path trail with a smaller crowd of people looking for a thrilling adventure in Nepal. In this region, you can see untouched Himalayan wonders. The two-horned massifs of Manaslu (8156 m) and the Ganesh Himal (7893 m), a subrange of the Himalayas in north-central Nepal, the Ruby Valley Trek, the single-pass trek, the Tsum Valley Trek, and the Manaslu Larke La Pass Trek are also included in the Ganesh Himal Manaslu region trek.
The name of the Ganesh Himal comes from the Hindu deity “Ganesha.”. The shape of the mountains slightly resembles the elephant, with a ridge that depicts the elephant trunk. The villages of this region are untouched by any kind of modernization. So, whatever you may find or see in this area is in its purest form. An enthralling tea house owned by the local Tamangs will let you know them intimately.
Once you leave the tea house, you will be alone on the trail because of its low popularity. For companions, you can find blue sheep, mules, yaks, and many butterflies. Thus, if you are a wildlife lover, you may find yourself falling in love with the remoteness of this place. Due to the beaten trail, both mountains are overshadowed by the popular trail, i.e., the Everest region and the Annapurna region.
The trekkers can explore many other trails, like the Tsum Valley Trek, also known as the “classic valley of happiness.”. The place mostly reflects the Tibetan culture, preferably the Tsumba people, who prohibit the killing of all living beings. This has boosted the protection of endangered species such as the red panda and snow leopard.
Besides exploring culturally rich places and forests, the Himal Chuli, a beautiful mountain rising to 7000 m, is something you may see during the journey. Or you can also opt for a walk in the clouds above Tiru Danda, which will give you an experience to behold forever.
