Api Base Camp Nampa Valley trekking is an off-beaten-path trek in the far-western part of Nepal, in the district of Darchula. The valley is naturally stunning and untouched by any kind of modernization. Unlike other parts of the region, the growth of tourism in Darchula is slower than the rest. Despite being a remote area, the trek in this region is truly beautiful, even with the limited number of facilities like accommodation, transportation, health, and many more. Api Nampa Conservation Area is the newest conservation area in Nepal. Therefore, traffic in this region for trekking is much less than in other conservation areas like Annapurna and Everest, but still as remarkable as in other places.

The journey to Api Nampa Valley is at least a two-week journey. The trek is quite difficult since it is off the Beaten Path. However, you will be delighted by the glorious sight of the Himalayas, amazing landscapes, deep gorges, and lush forests and be exposed to the culture, tradition, and way of life of the people living in this region. The tea houses are cheaper than the other trekking places in Nepal and offer only a limited number of meal plans.
