An expert says that it is shocking to find a glacier lake below 4,000 meters. This lake is about 8 hours away from the village. This lake gathers glacial melt from Annapurna II, IV, and Lamjung Himal. It’s the lowest glacier lake in Nepal, very beautiful, and even known as a virgin lake. Kapuche Lake has been declared the lowest-altitude glacier lake in the world, where the temperature falls below minus in the winter season, and sometimes the surface water modifies into the stiff icy ground. The lake, with 1,200 square meters in the area, is a peaceful glacial lake. The subject of the name Kahpuche is actually a noun from the Gurung language. It refers to the plain surface made of crushed snow and ice.
